2023-24 Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team Announced

PARK CITY, Utah (Oct. 9, 2023) - U.S. Ski & Snowboard is proud to confirm the 55 athletes who have accepted their nomination to the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Two-time Olympic champion and winningest alpine skier in history Mikaela Shiffrin, 2022 Olympic silver medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle, seven-time World Cup downhill podium finisher Breezy Johnson and top seven in the world slalom rank and 2023 world champion Paula Moltzan highlight the deep list of talented alpine athletes representing the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team this season.
The 2023-24 World Cup schedule is robust, with 21 women’s World Cups and 20 men’s events officially scheduled for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup calendar. The tour kicks off with a weekend of giant slalom in Soelden, Austria October 28-29 before heading to Zermatt/Cervinia, Switzerland/Italy for downhill races on November 8-12 for men and November 15-19 for women. Saalbach, Austria will bookend the season with World Cup Finals March 16-24, 2024.
North American fans will have the opportunity to cheer on their favorite ski racers this season with four World Cups in the United States, including the women’s slalom and giant slalom races at the Stifel Killington Cup in Killington, Vermont November 25-26 and the Xfinity Birds of Prey men’s speed events at Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado December 1-3. The World Cup returns to Europe before coming back to the U.S. in late February for back-to-back men’s tech series: Palisades Tahoe, California for the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup February 24-25 and Aspen, Colorado for the Stifel Aspen Winternational March 2-3. All events are recurring from the 2022-23 season, though the World Cup in Aspen transitions from being a speed series to a giant slalom and slalom.
“We are very excited to start the season in Soelden this month,” says Alpine Director Patrick Riml. “Our group of athletes across speed and tech made big strides last season and the work continued this summer. We are confident they will impress on the World Cup tour and bring home solid results for our organization and nation.”

Hunter Salani
Hunter Salani joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his first year on the development team. Salani grew up skiing out of Vail, Colo. for Ski & Snowboard Club Vail.
Sawyer Reed
Sawyer Reed joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his first season on the team. Reed was born into a ski racing family, learning to ski at two years old. He cultivated his fast skiing early by chasing his older brother around the mountains.
John Kerbaugh
John Kerbaugh joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his first year. The Vermont skier found his passion for the sport at a young age and continues to cultivate his skillset at Mt. Mansfield Academy, located in Stowe, Vermont, where he is currently in his senior year as a full-time student.
Colin Hanna
Colin Hanna joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his rookie season. Hanna hails from Sun Valley, Idaho, but he found his spark for skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl where he would chase his siblings down the hill.
Roman Elvidge
Roman Elvidge joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his rookie season. The skier learned to ski at the young of two when his father took him and his family to Alta and Snowbird in Utah until he eventually moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Finnigan Donley
Finnigan Donley, or Finn, first learned to ski out of Alyeska, Alaska and was instantly drawn to the adrenaline of going fast. He has not looked back; Donley developed his skiing out of Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation where his talents took hold.
Stanley Buzek
Stanley Buzek joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his first year with the national squad. Buzek started skiing at the young age of two with his parents at Crested Butte.
Allison Mollin
Allison Mollin, or A-MO, joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for her first season with the team. Another athlete coming out of the famed Palisades Tahoe resort.
Liv Moritz
Liv Moritz joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for her first season with the team. Moritz started skiing at three years-old cultivating her love for ski racing out of Vail, Colorado.
Tatum Grosdidier
Tatum Grosdidier joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for her first season with the national team. She first learned to ski at the young age of two at Mission Ridge in Washington.
Kaitlin Keane
Kaitlin Keane initially found her spark for racing through NASTAR courses. It was through these courses that she gained momentum, and qualified platinum in NASTAR. Now Keane is working on enjoying the process with the team.
Kjersti Moritz
Kjersti Moritz initially began competing on skis with slope style, half pipe, and alpine simultaneously. Moritz and her twin sister were the youngest and only girls in their group.
Elisabeth Bocock
Elisabeth Bocock began skiing at Snowbird where she cultivated a love for the sport free skiing the mountains with her coaches. For Bocock, Development team coach Foreste Peterson is the most influential person in her career.
Cooper Puckett
Cooper Puckett hails from Colorado where he learned to ski from his legendary family of skiers. The Puckett family includes his father Chris and uncle Casey (aka "Five-Time" as in five-time Olympian)—both former Olympians and U.S.
Jay Poulter
Jay Poulter first joined the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2021-22 season from Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, though his club prior to SMS was Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. During the 2020-21 season, Jay qualified for U.S.
Camden Palmquist
Camden hails from Eagan, Minn. having cut his teeth at all 300 vertical feet of Buck Hill, before relocating to Colorado and skiing for Team Summit. He got his first taste of racing with the Stifel U.S.
Justin Bigatel
Justin Bigatel grew up and learned to ski in Pennsylvania before moving to Park City, Utah when he was in the fifth grade. His top three athletic accomplishments are being named to the Stifel U.S.
Dasha Romanov
Dasha Romanov first joined the Stifel U.S. Alpine Development Team for the 2021-22 season hailing from Thornton, Colo., but having skied for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. Romanov had a very strong 22-23 season with multiple top five results in NorAm, finished second in the U.S.
Ava Sunshine
Ava Sunshine is a rising alpine force hailing from Edwards, Colo., but she calls Los Angeles, Calif. home. She attended Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy before heading to Burke Mountain Academy (BMA).
Mary Bocock
Mary Bocock enters her second season with the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team.
Erik Arvidsson
Erik Arvidsson joins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his 6th season. Some of Arvidsson’s top skiing results include an 8th place in the Saalbach downhill World Cup, 14th place at the Aspen super-G, and a 16th place at the Bormio downhill.
Storm Klomhaus
A graduate of the former USSA TEAM Academy, Klomhaus rejoins the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team after a successful collegiate ski racing career at the University of Denver where she was the 2020 NCAA giant slalom champion.
Jett Seymour
Jett Seymour is a slalom specialist hailing from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Seymour is a previous NCAA slalom Champion and NorAm Parallel slalom winner. Seymour scored his first World Cup points when he placed 25th in the Schladming slalom.
Sam DuPratt
Sam attended and skied for the University of Utah—where he was an NCAA All-American, and then GroundSwell Athletics in Park City—a post-grad team where athletes combine skiing with education and experience to create long term growth in and out of the sport. DuPratt is primarily a spee
Isabella Wright
Isabella Wright was first named to the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2021 season. Wright grew up skiing and ski racing on the West Coast, out of the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation, and showed fast skiing from a young age.
Allie Resnick
A Ski & Snowboard Club Vail athlete from Vail, Colo., Allie Resnick burst onto the FIS scene in her first year. She was the second junior and fourth overall at U.S. Nationals in her first-year FIS, ranked eighth in the world for her year of birth in slalom.
Alix Wilkinson
Alix Wilkinson learned to ski in California, for the famed Palisades Tahoe team. Wilkinson won the national championships giant slalom in 2018 and has multiple NorAm cup wins and podiums to her name.
Emma Resnick
Emma Resnick, raised in Vail, Colorado, is the youngest of three. Resnick cultivated her love for skiing on the mountain of Colorado, quickly becoming a top skier in her age group.
Lauren Macuga
Lauren Macuga hails from Park City, Utah, where she was groomed into an already successful alpine career with Park City Ski & Snowboard. Macuga is the 2022 World Juniors bronze medalist.
Jack Smith
Jack Smith first joined the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2019-20 season. He has since shown that he is an up-and-coming skier on the speed circuit. In the 2022-23 season Smith notched his ticket to the World Cup finishing second in the NorAm overall super-G standings.
Bridger Gile
Bridger Gile hails from Aspen, Colo., where he learned to ski at the age of two. Gile grew up racing with Aspen Valley Ski Club and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.
Zoe Zimmermann
Zoe Zimmermann began skiing at age two at Gunstock Mountain in her home town of Gilford, N.H. Dressed in a pink one-piece suit and under three feet tall, she would turn heads as she barreled straight down the mountain with her father close by yelling at her to “look ahead”!
Isaiah Nelson
Isaiah Nelson is the reigning 2022-23 NorAm Overall champion. Nelson is also the U16 National Champion in giant slalom and super-G, as well as the U19 NPS Overall Champion.
Ben Ritchie
Ben Ritchie hails from the East Coast, learning to ski at Jay Peak Ski Club, and moving on to Green Mountain Valley School.
Cooper Cornelius
Cooper Cornelius, a Colorado native, previously spent a few seasons with the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team before heading to Denver University to rip the NCAA circuit.
Kyle Negomir
Kyle Negomir, "Nego", is a Colorado native, he grew up skiing out of Copper Mountain. Negomir excels at all disciplines and is currently on the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team’s speed team.
AJ Hurt
AJ Hurt's passion for skiing and ski racing began at a very early age. Growing up in North Lake Tahoe, Palisades Tahoe was her winter playground. At four years old, she entered the Team Palisades Tahoe and fell in love with the sport.
Luke Winters
Luke Winters first learned to ski in Oregon and cultivated his love for racing out of Sugar Bowl Academy in Lake Tahoe, California. Winters became a strong skier in the technical disciplines, honing in on slalom.
Katie Hensien
Katie Hensien is a strong up and coming tech skier on the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team.
George Steffey
George Steffey hails from New England where he learned to ski on the east coast, building his foundation from Stratton Mountain School.
Keely Cashman
Keely Cashman is a 2022 Olympian and a strong skier of all disciplines, currently focused on speed with our women’s Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team.
Tricia Mangan
Former National Training Group (NTG) athlete turned heads during the 2015 season at U.S. Alpine Championships in Sugarloaf, Maine when she snagged a podium amongst juniors in giant slalom.
Nina O’Brien
Nina O’Brien started skiing out of Palisades Tahoe where she participated on the Mighty Mite program.
Alice Merryweather
Alice Merryweather learned to ski at four years old on the wintery slopes of Attitash Mountain, chasing her brother down the hill.
River Radamus
River Radamus hails from Edwards, Colorado where he learned to ski on the slopes of Vail, alongside his parents who are coaches.
Breezy Johnson
Rowmark Academy grad Breezy Johnson moved up to A Team in the 2017-18 season after bursting onto the World Cup scene in a big way during the 2016-17 season, where she finished 18th in the FIS Ski World Cup downhill standings and 36th in super-G. She started the season with a bang, finishing in 1

At a mere 23-months-old, Morse made his first tracks skiing at Sugarloaf, Maine.
Jacqueline Wiles
A product entirely of the Pacific Northwest Ski Association, Jackie Wiles was on skis about the same time she figured out walking.
Paula Moltzan
Paula Moltzan is a Minnesota girl hailing from Buck Hill Ski Racing Club and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.
Bryce Bennett
Bryce Bennett began skiing at the age of two, hailing from Olympic Valley, California, where he grew up shredding the terrain of Palisades Tahoe.

Born in "Bean Town," Goldberg learned to ski at Killington, VT before his family moved to Utah when he was four.
