Luke Winters

Gresham, Ore.
Gresham, Ore.
Alpine B

This 2018 World Junior Championships super-G bronze medalist was born and raised in Oregon with a twin brother, two sisters, and two awesome parents.

Winters' parents had never been out of the country or east of Colorado until last year, and don't have much of a skiing background. He's kind to the core and extremely thankful his dad encouraged he and his brother to "get involved in this crazy sport" and he's excited to see where it takes him.

In 2018, Winters and teammate River Radamus double podiumed at World Junior Championships in Davos, Switzerland, and the momentum just kept on rolling from there. A solid and consistent four top-15 results at U.S. Alpine Championships in Sun Valley, Idaho, including a second place behind teammate Ryan Cochran-Siegle in the alpine combined.

Winters will be starting in World Cups frequently at the beginning of the 2019 season, so get used to looking for the name.
