Kjersti Moritz initially began competing on skis with slope style, half pipe, and alpine simultaneously.  Moritz and her twin sister were the youngest and only girls in their group.

Some of her top athletic achievements include tying with her sister for the GS win at U14 Championships and five top ten results in the NorAm circuit for the 2022 season.

Other interests for Moritz include soccer, mountain biking, tennis and competing with her siblings. One of Mortiz’s pre-race rituals is to always put the right boot on first.
