Sophie Goldschmidt, President and CEO
Sophie Goldschmidt has held numerous leadership, commercial and marketing roles with several of the world’s most well-known and prestigious organizations. She comes to U.S. Ski & Snowboard most recently as CEO of the World Surf League (WSL). She has also held executive positions at the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Chime Sports Marketing (CSM), the PGA European Tour and Adidas. She brings to U.S. Ski & Snowboard a unique experience of working closely with athletes across multiple sports from grassroots to the elite level, with a track record of positively transforming organizations from a business standpoint. Sophie has been at the forefront of globalizing and innovating sports, media, and entertainment properties throughout her career. She has also been honored as one of Forbes Most Powerful Women in Sport, AdWeek’s Most Powerful Women in Sport, Sports Business Journal's Forty under Forty, Leaders in Sport Under 40 Award, Marketing Week’s Vision Award and Sport360 Most Influential Women in Sport. Sophie is a also a Board Member for the 2034 Salt Lake City-Utah Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
Brooke McAffee, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
Brooke McAffee is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at U.S. Ski & Snowboard (USSS), leading several departments including the financial, accounting, legal, board governance, membership and IT operations. McAffee is a CPA, graduated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and holds an Executive Certificate in Olympic Sport Leadership from Northwestern University. With over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting across various sectors she has successfully managed and improved the financial stability of numerous organizations, growing annual budgets, implementing new revenue streams, improving cash flow, audit, compliance, risk management and strategic planning. Before USSS, McAffee was the CFO for Sundance Institute with offices in Park City, Los Angeles, and New York. She also previously worked for Neilson Elggren and Arthur Andersen, LLC where her specialties were audit, forensic, and investigatory accounting for both public and private companies.
A native of southern California, McAffee is a lifelong skier and athlete. She played division one soccer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has completed two Leadville 100 mountain bike races. In addition to her own athletic endeavors, she has provided support to her sister, Amber Neben, a three-time Olympian and world champion road cyclist. She and her husband Clint live in Park City where they are raising their son and daughter.

Anouk Patty, Chief of Sport
Anouk Patty joined U.S. Ski & Snowboard as the Chief of Sport in 2022 to drive the organization's athletic performance. She leads USSS' 10 sports' elite National and Olympic Team programs as well as pipeline development across the country. Anouk has held leadership roles at blue-chip corporations throughout her career including Hewlett-Packard, Intuit, Bain & Company and J.P. Morgan. Anouk competed on the U.S. Alpine Ski Team in the 1980s and raced for Dartmouth College, where she was a three-time All-American and won the NCAA Skiing Championship in 1988. She is on the board of POWDR, the parent company of U.S. Ski & Snowboard event venues including Copper Mountain and Woodward, and previously sat on the board of Green Mountain Valley School. She has her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Guy Slattery, Chief Marketing Officer
Guy Slattery comes to U.S. Ski & Snowboard with extensive successes in entertainment marketing and content development. Guy was formerly the CMO at VICE Media where he built and led the team that launched the Emmy award-winning television network VICELAND. While at VICE he also drove growth and innovation through the development and marketing of the VICE brand portfolio (VICE.com, VICE News, VICE TV, VICE Studios, Refinery 29, Virtue, Pulse Films) across all platforms and lines of business, including advertising and design, brand positioning and identity, branded content, consumer research and insights. Before joining VICE, he was Executive Vice President of Marketing at A+E Networks, responsible for all marketing, creative and brand strategy for A&E and HISTORY during a period that saw both networks grow to become among the top five entertainment networks in cable. Guy is responsible for all aspects of U.S. Ski & Snowboard's brand development and communications.
Trisha Worthington, Chief Revenue and Philanthropic Officer
Trisha Worthington rejoined U.S. Ski & Snowboard in 2014 to oversee fundraising to support athletic programs through the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team Foundation. She previously headed fundraising for the Foundation from 1995-2007, increasing its annual fund to $5 million and spearheading its $60 million Legacy Fund endowment, a portion of which funded U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Center of Excellence. Worthington served as executive director of the Park City Community Foundation since its inception in 2007. Her leadership of the Park City Community Foundation resulted in an investment of over $5 million into the community through grant programs and initiatives, including raising nearly $1 million in a single day of giving. She grew the foundation from its start to assets of more than $7 million.

Matt Giacalone, Vice President of People
Matt Giacalone comes to U.S. Ski & Snowboard as an accomplished HR executive with 16+ years of experience focusing on strategic people initiatives, scalable growth strategies, M&A experiences, extensive global experience, and a passion for helping people feel like they belong. Before joining U.S. Ski & Snowboard, Matt was Executive Director-HR at Valkyrie Capital, managing all early-stage Biotech investments. Previously, he was Chief People Officer for KLAS Research, managing all People aspects of the business. Before that, he spent several years running the global business as Global Vice President of Learning and Development for Vertiv, a worldwide tech company specializing in Data storage. Matt brings an added focus on strategy, organizational design and change management and a remarkable background leading substantial People organizations.
