BIO
Hunter Hess of the Stifel U.S. Freeski Team halfpipe roster is one of the most exciting athletes on the circuit. Growing up in Oregon, Hunter spent his time honing his love for skiing at Mt. Bachelor and grew up skiing with the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation. Hess has reached the World Cup podium four times and X Games podium twice.
In his spare time, you can probably find Hess running, surfing, or bickering with Birk. He loves a well cut halfpipe and getting to spend the day riding with friends. He also loves dogs.
Outside of competitive freeskiing, Hunter teams up with his teammate and best friend, Alex Hall, to make MAGMA, showcasing their skiing around the world, in the streets, and with their friends.
