19-year-old World Cup competitor Charlie Mickel from Durango, Colorado, is a National Champion and has placed third in dual moguls at the Intermountain Health Freestyle International World Cup in 2023.
During the 2022-23 season, Mickel secured his career-best World Cup result, landing in ninth in a stacked field in Alpe d'Huez, France.
Charlie grew up training and competing in mogul skiing with his three siblings, and this sport has been a lifelong passion of his since he was young. He now resides in Park City, Utah, where he attends the University of Utah, and is an avid whitewater kayaker and tennis player in his free time.
