BIO
Matthew Brewer met Stephani Victor at a camp for bilateral above-knee amputees. After hearing her story of Paralympic success and being invited by her to learn to ski, he was all in. Brewer applied for a CAF grant to help him afford his equipment and made the move out to Utah to start training competitively. He trained with the National Ability Center High-Performance team and was awarded their Sportsman of the Year for the 2020-2021 season. In 2022 he was nominated to the U.S. Para Alpine Team and started his journey on the World Cup Circuit. Outside of racing, Matthew mentors new monoskiers and helps them feel comfortable on the slopes.
