BIO

Isaiah Nelson is the 2022-23 NorAm Overall champion. Nelson is also the U16 National Champion in giant slalom and super-G, as well as the U19 NPS Overall Champion. Nelson made his World Cup debut at the Soelden giant slalom race in 2022.

In the 2024-25 season, Nelson was named to his first World Championships team where he helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish in the team parallel.

Some of the most influential people in Nelson’s career include his Father, his Aunt, and Erich Sailer. Sailer taught him the basics and mentored him as a junior racer. His Dad, Todd Nelson, ski raced for the University of Wyoming and also coached him until he made the US Ski Team. His Aunt, Tasha McCrank, raced slalom in the 1998 and 2002 Olympics. When Nelson is not out skiing, he enjoys waterskiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and playing tennis.
