Isaiah Nelson is the reigning 2022-23 NorAm Overall champion. Nelson is also the U16 National Champion in giant slalom and super-G, as well as the U19 NPS Overall Champion. Nelson made his World Cup debut at the Soelden giant slalom race in 2022. One of his biggest goals include top 5 results on the Europa Cup as well as snagging World Cup points.
Some of the most influential people in Nelson’s career include his Dad and Aunt, who both raced as well. When Nelson is not out skiing, he enjoys wakesurfing, rock climbing, mountain biking and pickleball.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Isaiah Nelson
- 1. Isaiah is the U16 National Champion in giant slalom and super-G, as well as the U19 NPS Overall Champion.
- 2. Following in the footsteps of many accomplished U.S. Ski Team athletes before him, Isaiah hails from the mighty Buck Hill in Minnesota, where he worked with legendary coach Erich Sailer.
- 3. When he isn't on the slopes, you can find Isaiah unicycling, wake surfing, mountain biking, or water skiing on homemade water skis (built with wood planks and ski boots).
- 4. Isaiah thinks school is cool, and was the Valedictorian for his class at West Lutheran High School.
- 5. His favorite skier is Henrik Kristoffersen, because "he's a fun skier to watch."
