BIO

Cleveland, Ohio’s Red Gerard, has made history in the sport. He is the youngest athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in snowboard slopestyle, taking home the Olympic gold at the 2018 Games at just 17. He began in the amateur ranks seven years prior and quickly worked up to the pro snowboard circuit.

Besides his gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games, he has had four other top-five results at the Games and plenty of accolades in different competitions, including World Cups, X Games and more. Red has been snowboarding since the age of two and was born into a family that excels in all they do - Red's older sister is world-famous for her cooking and goes under the name 'Half Baked Harvest', and Red is often seen filming backcountry and park segments with his older brother.

"I would have been happy to just land a run, but to land a run and win, it’s crazy."
