Drew, Morrison take overall Rev Tour titles

MOUNT SNOW, VT (Mar. 15)—After winning the second stop of the U.S. Revolution Tour's freeskiing slopstyle event at Northstar-at-Tahoe, CA, Carrabassett Valley Academy Athletics' own Annalisa Drew (Andover, MA) took the overall title for the women with a victory at Mount Snow, VT. On the men's side, B.C. Freestyle Ski Association's Noah Morrison (Vernon, B.C.) took second at Mount Snow after his victory at Northstar-at-Tahoe, good for the overall title. 

  • Drew had recently been named to the U.S. Junior Worlds Freeskiing Team for the FIS Freestyle Junior World Championships, which will take place from March 20-25 in Valmlenco, Italy.  
  • This is the fourth and final stop of the U.S. Revolution Tour after contests at Copper Mountain, CO (Dec. 18-22), Northstar-at-Tahoe, CA (Jan. 8-13), and Ostego, MI (Jan. 29-Feb. 3).
  • The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's Revolution Tour is geared towards helping young athletes grow their competitive ski and snowboard skills. The Revolution Tour features over $31,000 in prizes.
  • The U.S. Revolution Tour's halfpipe and slopestyle events are sanctioned as 4-Star TTR Events/AFP Bronze.
  • U.S. Grand Prix invites go to top finishers.
  • U.S. Open invitations go to the overall snowboarding tour winners.
