Kate Oldham makes her debut on the Stifel U.S. Cross Country Ski Team B Team after a standout 2024-25 season, which included her first World Cup start, a spot on the World Championships team, and career-best results. A recent Montana State University graduate, Kate is joining a strong women's team going into the 2025-26 season.
On the snow, the Carbondale, CO-native has many accolades to her name. With a 2025 National Championship victory in the 10k skate, three World Cup top 20s—including a career-best 16th place in the Cogne, Italy World Cup 10k skate— and strong results at U23 World Championships and Junior World Championships, Kate is strong in all disciplines. At the highest level of the sport, Kate has already experienced a World Championships. She qualified for a spot on the U.S. team at the FIS World Ski Championships in Trondheim, Norway, and subsequently placed 22nd in the skate sprint, placing her in the elite group of top 30 sprinters in the world.
Off the snow, Kate likes to spend her time training in the mountains of Montana, kayaking, cooking, making lattes and spending time with her horses.
