BIO
Alex Ferreira started competitive freeskiing when he was ten and his mom registered him for an aerials event without his knowledge. From there, Ferreira found halfpipe and has gone on to become one of the most decorated halfpipe skiers in history.
Ferreira is a two-time Olympic medalist, has 16 World Cup podiums, and seven X Games medals. He won every contest he entered in the 2023-24 season, becoming the first halfpipe skier to have a perfect season. His ultimate goal is an Olympic gold medal, and hopes to achieve that at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
When not on the hill, Ferreira enjoys pickleball (along with absolutely any other sport), recovering in the sauna, and transforming into his alter ego, HotDog Hans. Before a competition, he always puts his left items on first.
