Podium for Nita Englund

RASNOV, Romania (Feb. 8, 2015) - Nita Englund (Florence, WI) continued her rise on the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup tour, finishing second in a shortened one-round competition in Rasnov. Japan's Sara Takanashi took the win. Tara Garaghty-Moats (West Fairlee, VT) was ninth for a career best.

I sometimes get excited when I see the conditions get worse because it is something that does not bother me. I honestly did not know it was a one rounder until I got to the bottom. I was ready to do it again! I think the best thing was that I stayed calm and focused on keeping my jump like training. I am cherishing the moment and I don't think it really sank in yet.
