Park City, UT (Jan. 1, 2015) – The U.S. Freestyle moguls team will start off the New Year in Calgary, Canada for the second World Cup of the season. The event will take place at Calgary’s Canada Olympic Park on January 3, one of the premier sites from the 1988 Olympic Winter Games.

Hannah Kearney (left) finished second at Calgary last year between Canadian sisters Justine Dufour-Lapointe and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe.

Hannah Kearney (Norwich, VT), who finished second in last year’s Calgary event, will continue her quest for the most World Cup wins in freestyle moguls history, while teammate Patrick Deneen (Cle Elum, WA) looks to follow up his third place finish last year with another podium. The Calgary World Cup also marks the return of Sho Kashima (South Lake Tahoe, CA), who spent the off-season recovering from injury.

Sho Kashima trains at the Canada Olympic Park on January 1st ahead of this weekend's World Cup. (FIS Freestyle)

Both men and women’s competitions will take place on Saturday, Jan. 3 with finals beginning at 4:15 p.m. EST.
