QUOTES
Josh Bowman, men’s halfpipe winner
I’m super stoked to go to the Grand Prix. It just sounds super fun.
Corrah Phillips, women’s slopestyle winner
The weather was interesting, but I managed to put down a solid run and the competition was really good. Congrats to all the girls! I had a great time.
Grant Giller, men’s slopestyle winner
I was sitting in third going into the second run, and I was third from last to drop. I was just trying to decide if I should go for it [the double cork]. I really wanted to go to the Mammoth Grand Prix, but the weather out here is crazy. I just dropped in and did a switch backside board side with a melon grab 270 out and I did a switch backside 900 and I was coming into the last jump thinking, “Do I want to do a double cork or just stay in third?” And I did a double cork and I’m really stoked.
I’m really stoked to win here at Seven Springs. It’s a super good place. I won the U.S. Open qualifier here two years ago and I got my first magazine shot here, so I really like this place.
