Hendrickson Top-10 in Hinzenbach

HINZENBACH, Austria (Jan. 31, 2015) - Sarah Hendrickson (Park City, UT) set aside a tough competition in Oberstdorf, Germany last weekend, soaring back into the top-10 in a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup at Hinzenbach. Austria’s Daniela Iraschko-Stoltz won again.
Hendrickson flew 88.5 meters in the first round to stand third, before dropping back on the second jump.
“Today was a really good day for me,” said Hendrickson. “I have changed some things in my technique this past week and it's made a world of a difference. I am more confident and stable with everything. Today was a really fair competition and I had a great time competing.”
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sarah Hendrickson flew to eighth in a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Hinzenbach, Austria.
- Nita Englund was 15th with Abby Hughes 19th.
- The women are back in action Sunday with a second jump in Hinzenbach, the final selection event before the World Championships.
