Fletcher Returns to World Cup

LAHTI, Finland (Feb. 28) – Bryan Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) was the sole U.S. athlete to compete in the individual 10k Gundersen World Cup in Lahti Friday, finishing 34th in his first nordic combined since the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. The athletes returned to their World Cup groove with Johannes Rydzek of Germany taking the win, Akito Watabe of Japan in second and Eric Frenzel of Germany filling out the podium. Next, the men take on the HS130/2x7.5k team sprint event Saturday in Lahti.
