Derek "Buster" Richardson rejoins the Stifel U.S. Cross Country Ski Team D Team this coming 2024-25 season, becoming one of the youngest athletes named to the national team. Originally hailing from Leavenworth, Washington, Buster moved to Anchorage, Alaska, to train with the Alaska Pacific University Ski Club (APU). Richardson, who grew up training with the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club (LWSC), is one of the athletes to follow going into the season.
