BIO

Hailing from Torrance, California, Chloe Kim began snowboarding at the age of four. By the age of 14, she had already made her mark on the sport by winning gold in the superpipe at the 2015 Winter X Games, becoming the youngest athlete to do so at that time and in turn, capturing the attention of the snowboarding world.

Kim's Olympic debut came at the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, where she clinched gold in the women's halfpipe at just 17 years old, making her the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal. She successfully defended her title at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, becoming the first woman to win back-to-back Olympic golds in the halfpipe.

Beyond the Olympics, Kim has secured eight X Games gold medals and is the first woman to win two gold medals in snowboarding at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. She holds the distinction of being the first athlete to win titles at all four major snowboarding events: the Olympics, Youth Olympics, X Games, and World Championships. At the iconic 2025 Laax Open, Kim became the first woman to land a cab dub 1080 in competition en route to winning her fifth victory in Laax.

Kim's influence transcends the sport. She has been recognized with multiple ESPY Awards, including Best Female Action Sports Athlete three years in a row. In 2018, she was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. She has also been vocal about mental health challenges and the importance of self-care, often using her social media platforms to discuss the pressures of fame and competition.

Kim has also made a name for herself in the world of fashion, collaborating with outerwear sponsor Roxy on multiple collections and working with Ebay and Vogue on their "Eternal Eras of Fashion" campaign to curate pre-loved and vintage luxury looks.
