U.S. Snowboard Team member and Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim has put her best foot forward this off-season to support COVID-19 relief efforts. Along with more than 100 other elite professional athletes including Shaun White, Simone Biles, Rob Gronkowski, Stephen Curry, Jack Nicklaus, Tony Hawk, and Alana Blanchard, Chloe has donated competition-used, autographed gear to raise funds for @funds4disaster COVID-19 Response Fund. In addition, Chloe personally donated $15,000 to the “raffle style” fundraiser also offered through this relief effort.

In response to the outbreak, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) launched the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund to support preparedness, containment, response, and recovery activities for those affected and for the responders. The CDP COVID-19 Response Fund will focus on supporting local nonprofit organizations working in areas identified as having high numbers of affected individuals and those who are working with the most vulnerable populations to help aid in their capacity for response.

Chloe is already over 70% to her goal of raising $25,000 with 38 days left to go in the fundraiser, which ends June 1. Donors that contribute over $25 will be entered to win a signed Chloe Kim contest-used snowboard, selected randomly at the conclusion of the fundraising period. Donations greater than $25 are appreciated and encouraged to help support the cause.
