Chloe Kim from Torrance, California is a star athlete in the world of halfpipe snowboarding. Not only has she championed in X Games, World Cup, and various other competitions she has been a two-time gold medalist at the Olympics in 2018 and 2022. The only reason Chloe was not able to compete in the 2014 Olympics was due to the age restriction. Kim knocks on her snowboard twice ritually before every run because of the old saying of knocking on wood for good luck. Not only has she excelled athletically, but she has also excelled academically too. Attending Princeton University and fluently speaking three different languages. She decided to take a break from her academic prowess to focus more on snowboarding and her dedication has continued to pay off handsomely.
