7 Things You Didn't Know About Rosie Brennan
- 1. Rosie's first career World Cup victory was a freestyle sprint on Dec. 12, in Davos, Switzerland. The next day, she took her second World Cup victory in a 10k freestyle, earning the overall World Cup leader's bib.
- 2. Rosie is the first American to hold the overall World Cup leader's bib, World Cup sprint leader's bib, and World Cup distance leader's bib at the same time.
- 3. Rosie has a Masters Degree in Liberal Arts and Education.
- 4. She won the 10k freestyle for her first U.S. National Title in 2013.
- 5. Rosie volunteers with Fast and Female, a program dedicated to empowering young women through sport; and Skiku, which provides nordic ski instruction to children and communities all around Alaska.
- 6. She was the first recipient of U.S. Nordic Olympic Women's Inga Award.
- 7. Rosie is a twin!
