Jay Poulter first joined the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2021-22 season from Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, though his club prior to SMS was Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. During the 2020-21 season, Jay qualified for U.S. Ski & Snowboard's National Development Group. In the 2022-23 season Poulter had a strong showing with a third place in the Burke Mountain NorAm and then a third place at U.S. Nationals in the slalom.

- 1. Jay's favorite place to ski is Les Diablerets, Switzerland. There, he freeskied all day and one chairlift ride led him to different peaks he could explore all day.
- 2. His goals for the 21/22 season are to throw down some top 10s, and podium at world juniors. He also wants to finish with a top 15 overall season ranking in the Norams.
- 3. When he is not skiing, Jay likes to golf, surf, and sleep.
- 4. Jays top 3 athletic accomplishments: 1) His first FIS win, 2) Winning the overall title at the holiday classic (2021), and 3) First Noram podium
