2022 Olympian JC Schoonmaker, of Lake Tahoe, CA, is entering his fourth year on the Stifel U.S. Cross Country Ski Team. Looking back to his first year on the team, JC scored World Cup points in his first World Cup start and just a few years later, was on the podium in Östersund in the sprint, marking a historic moment for the men's U.S. team by bringing the first of what was three men's podiums during the 2023-24 season.
Outside of World Cup skiing, he was an NCAA All-American at the University of Alaska Anchorage, the 2022 U.S. Freestyle sprint champion, and a member of the 2022-23 World Championships team, where he landed in the top 10 in the sprint.
