  • 1. Kate started skiing when she was two and started park skiing at only the age of nine
  • 2. She initially got into park and halfpipe skiing from her older brothers
  • 3. Kate grew up with three older brothers and skied with only boys the majority of the time, which she attributes to her being so competitive
  • 4. Besides skiing she is on her high school softball team, plays basketball, and wakesurfs in the summer
