This is a FIS event, requires a FIS license, and adheres to FIS age requirements.

Selection Events are used to qualify U.S. skiers for starts in the U.S. World Cups and NorAm competitions.

REGISTRATION:

Opens: October 1, 2024

Closes: December 1, 2024

Field Size: 160 total competitors, 80 per gender

Fee: $325.00, entry fee gives access to the practice days, the qualifying competition, and the final competition.

Refund Policy: A full refund will be processed if an athlete withdraws from the competition before the first day of practice. However, once practice begins, no refund is possible.

*Please join us for a complimentary Tubing Party on Wednesday, December 11th from 5 - 7pm, at the Colorado Adventure Park Tubing Hill located at 566 County Road 721 Fraser, CO 80442.*

Family and friends welcome! Everyone who participates will need to sign the waiver here. And bring your ski helmet or borrow one from the hill. Pizza will be provided but please bring your own water too! Prizes will be raffled off to participants at the end of the party.

Benefits include:

Complimentary Ticket voucher: 1 voucher per 6 hours of service. These may be used by you, your friends, or family.

Parent Volunteer Deposit full or partial refund: 15 hours for full refund of $300 deposit- 30 hours for a full refund of $600 deposit.

Community Service: must meet minimum age requirements. Must be age 16 or older to volunteer.

*Volunteer vouchers can be redeemed for Winter Park Resort winter lift tickets, Trestle Bike Park tickets, or Summer Activities and are valid for up to two seasons depending on when they are earned. All your times volunteering will be combined.*

ATHLETE CRITERIA AND INVITE INFORMATION:

Foreign Entries: The event organizer will consider foreign entry requests on a rolling basis. Please email Lauren Benhoff at freestyle@usskiandsnowboard.org to submit an entry. Please note that entries will only be considered from National Ski Association members until November 1, 2024. There will be a maximum of 10 foreign entries per gender. If there are more than 10 applicants to start, the athlete's FIS point ranking will determine participation selection. National Teams will be notified of official event entry by November 4, 2024.

Anti-Doping:
U.S. Ski & Snowboard, as the NGB for Olympic skiing and snowboarding, is required by the IOC, USOPC, and FIS to comply with the anti-doping rules and regulations established internationally by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in its code for eligibility in these sports.
