BRECKENRIDGE, CO (Jan. 10) – Challenging weather conditions and new snow have prompted officials to move the Visa U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix halfpipe finals up a day to Saturday, Jan. 11 at 10:00 a.m. MST. This decision was reached in order to achieve the greatest opportunity for success on Saturday, by keeping all manpower and resources at the same venue for halfpipe skiing and then halfpipe snowboarding.

QUOTES
Eric Webster, Sprint U.S. Grand Prix Tour Director
The heavy snow at Breckenridge has created challenges for the event. To give us the best chance of success, it's important that we maintain a focus on one venue with our full resources for Saturday with halfpipe skiing and snowboarding. Sunday, we'll be able to put all of our resources into producing the slopestyle snowboarding competition.
