USSA CEO Races Engadin Skimarathon

By U.S. Ski & Snowboard
April, 19 2016

This year, some of the most important names in nordic skiing headed to the Engadin Skimarathon in St. Mortiz, Switzerland—the biggest skate ski race in the world. Included in the list of impressive athletes and Olympians was Tiger Shaw, the president and CEO of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

“The Engadin Ski Marathon is an amazing event,” said Shaw. “I had no idea what it was going to be like, so I was a little nervous, in particular as I was just about to take the start with 13,000 of my closest friends, but it was awesome.”

Read more about the Engadin Ski Marathon, Shaw’s participation and which other prominent U.S. outdoor industry influencers took to the startline in St. Moritz in FasterSkier’s article, “An American(s) in Paris, er, Switzerland.”
