USANA Signs On as Title Sponsor for 2017 Nordic Junior Worlds

PARK CITY, UT (Oct. 24, 2016) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation (UOLF) announced today that USANA Health Sciences has signed on to be the title sponsor of the 2017 FIS Nordic Junior and U23 World Ski Championships, taking place Jan. 28 – Feb 5, 2017.
Based in Salt Lake City, UT, USANA has long-term partnerships with both the USSA and UOLF. USANA’s relationship with both organizations focuses on the support of athletes as well as a presence at national and international events. USANA products are also used to fuel athletes at the USSA’s Center of Excellence in Park City, UT.

Awarded to Utah back in 2014, the Junior Worlds will be the largest international skiing event held at the Utah Olympic Park and Soldier Hollow venues since the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. 750 athletes from 40 nations are expected to compete in 21 events comprised of cross country, ski jumping and nordic combined competitions, including the first ever women’s ski jumping team event. It will be the first time the event has been hosted in the U.S. since 1986.
