Rocky-Central Region Governance
The Rocky/Central Alpine Competition Committee (ACC) is the governing body for the Region. Regional selections procedures, championship events, regional development programs, and regional scheduling are designed and approved by the Rocky/Central ACC. Regional development programs are designed to assist the top athletes in the region at each age level.

Rocky-Central Alpine Region
The Rocky/Central Region is one of three regions responsible for the regulation of the sport of Alpine Ski Competition within the geographical area encompassing the Rocky Mountain and Central Divisions.
The Rocky Mountain Division consists of the following states: Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, part of Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.
The Central Division consists of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, North Dakota, part of South Dakota and Missouri.
Western Region Governance
The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Western Region is responsible for the regulation of the sport of Alpine Ski Competition within the geographical area of the Western United States.
The Western Region consists of the five western divisions:

Western Region Calendar
This calendar is the western region FIS events and projects. Please refer to references section for all FIS U.S. Events and the Western Region Calendar.
Western athletes and coaches need to intend for these races with their respective divisional managers.
Please visit the divisional websites for a schedule of U.S. Ski & Snowboard scored and non-scored races.

Mikaela Shiffrin’s Favorite Pasta Recipe

In honor of #NationalPastaDay, we're sharing Mikaela Shiffrin's favorite pasta dish: spring pork peppers and salsa pasta.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist and eight-time world champion Mikaela Shiffrin began turning heads almost instantly when she finished top 15 in her first two NorAm Cup races. But the heads started spinning when she won a super combined in British Colombia two weeks later, and then ski fans and coaches went cross-eyed when she landed a World Cup podium during her rookie season–at age 16. She then proceeded to blow the world apart with a World Championship slalom gold medal and the World Cup slalom title during her sophomore year.
