Reporting of Inappropriate Behavior

Every U.S. Ski & Snowboard member must report suspected violations of the SafeSport Code. If you suspect that an athlete is experiencing misconduct of a sexual nature, call the U.S. Center for SafeSport's hotline at 833-5US-SAFE (and local child protection authorities if the athlete is a minor) and/or CLICK HERE to Report a Concern.

If you doubt whether conduct is occurring, please err on the side of reporting. Conduct that does not involve sexual conduct but which may violate the SafeSport Code must be reported to either the Center or U.S. Ski & Snowboard by CLICKING HERE and completing an online form or emailing usskiandsnowboardsafesport@usskiandsnowboard.org.

For further information, please visit: https://uscenterforsafesport.org/response-and-resolution-process/

The Center accepts all reports affecting the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement of:

  • Sexual Misconduct, including without limitation child sexual abuse and any misconduct that is reasonably related to an underlying allegation of Sexual Misconduct;
  • Criminal Charges or Dispositions involving Child Abuse or Sexual Misconduct;
  • Misconduct Related to Reporting, where the underlying allegation involves Child Abuse or Sexual Misconduct;
  • Aiding and Abetting, when it relates to the Center’s process;
  • Misconduct Related to the Center’s Process; and
  • Other Inappropriate Conduct, as defined herein.

The Center has exclusive jurisdiction to investigate and resolve reports affecting the Movement in the bulleted categories above.

The Center also accepts reports of emotional and physical misconduct (including bullying, hazing, stalking, and harassment) within the Movement. Reports of emotional and physical misconduct and MAAPP violations can also be made directly to U.S. Ski & Snowboard.

There is no cost to submit a report to the Center or U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Anonymous reports may be made to both via the online forms.
