Project Gold Camps
Project Gold Camps are progressive training camps designed for elite-level talent development in freestyle aerial and mogul skiing. Top junior athletes are selected to train with U.S. Freestyle Ski Team Coaches, Experienced Freestyle Coaches and other talented peers.
Why Moving to a U15 Project Gold Program Matters?
Transitioning to a U15 Project Gold program is an essential step in strengthening athlete development during one of the most important growth windows. At this age, athletes benefit most from consistent coaching, structured progressions, and early exposure to national-level expectations. A unified U15 pathway ensures athletes build strong fundamentals and age-appropriate physical development before entering the U17, U19, and FIS performance stages.
At the same time, we are pivoting to a regional Project Gold model, bringing high-quality camps to the East, Rocky, and West regions. This shift allows us to reach more athletes, reduce travel barriers, and provide a more equitable development experience nationwide. By meeting athletes where they are, we create broader access, stronger alignment, and a deeper pool of well-prepared athletes moving up the pipeline.
This combined approach—U15 focus and regional access—sets athletes up for long-term success and strengthens the entire freestyle pathway.
