World Cup Discretionary Nomination Selection Dates 2024-25
Dear Cross Country Community,
You can find all finalized selection criteria for the 2024-25 World Cup, the 2025 Trondheim World Champs, the 2025 World Junior and U23 World Champs, and the U18 Nordic Nations Championships here:

The World Cup Coaches’ Discretion Working Group will nominate athletes to World Cup Periods 1-4 on the following dates:
- World Cup Period 1 – FIN, NOR, SUI (Nov. 29 – Dec. 15, 2024)
- Selection date: Wednesday, June 26, 2024
- World Cup Period 2 – Tour de Ski (Dec. 28, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025)
- Selection date: Wednesday, December 18, 2024
- World Cup Period 3 – FRA, SUI, CZE, SWE (Jan. 17 – Feb. 16, 2025)
- Selection date: Wednesday, January 8, 2025
- World Cup Period 4 – NOR, EST, FIN (Mar. 15-23, 2025)
- Selection date: Monday, February 24, 2025
