Stevenson Shows Versatility Winning Both Disciplines At Otsego
OTSEGO, MI (Feb. 1) –The third stop of the U.S. Revolution Tour wrapped up its halfpipe and slopestyle skiing events at Otsego Ski Club; with snowboarding taking place on Thursday and Friday. It was a banner week for Axis Freeride member, 14-year-old Colby Stevenson (Park City, UT) who won both halfpipe and slopestyle in the men’s division. Waterville Valley’s Jessica Breda (Marshfield, MA) took the win for the ladies slopestyle and Colorado native Kendall Deighan (Vail, CO) soared into first place for ladies halfpipe.

- The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's Revolution Tour is geared toward young athlete's to help them grow their competitive ski/snowboard skills and assist with the road to professional athlete. Rev Tour features over $31,000 in prizes.

- Broby Leeds won best trick for his impressive switch misty-flip 900 in his slopestyle run.
- Jessica Breda won best trick for her leftside 540 in her slopestyle run.
- Cloudy skies, flat light and firm snow made for challenging a competition for the athletes.
- The fourth and final of the U.S. Revolution Tour is set for March 12 – 16 at Mt. Snow, Vermont. Top finishers will be competing for invites to the U.S. Grand Prix.

In the competition the snow was really hard and kind of icy. I wasn’t use to the course, and I wasn’t expecting to win, it’s pretty cool and I am stoked! In my winning run I did a right 720, a cork 900, and a switch 900.
