BIO
Wrightwood, California's Maddie Mastro has taken the snowboard halfpipe scene by storm. The two-time Olympian has 18 World Cup podiums, four X Games medals and a Dew Tour win to her name. At just 18 years old, Mastro became the first woman to ever land a double crippler in the halfpipe at the Burton U.S. Open en route to the gold medal.
The 25 year old continues to push the progression of snowboarding, adding another three never-been-done marks to her name throughout the 2024-25 FIS Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup season, becoming the first women to ever land a front double 1080 in contest (Laax Open 2025), the first woman ever to land two double in one contest run (Laax Open, 2025) and the first woman to land a switch ally oop backside rodeo in the halfpipe (2025 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix). Mastro secured the coveted FIS World Cup Halfpipe Crystal Globe for the 2024-25 season, putting an exclamartion mark on her already impressive resume.
Out of the pipe, you can find Mastro cycling, surfing, thrifting any chance she gets or sewing her own clothes and accessories. A huge advocate for animal adoption rights, her pride and joy is her dog Pippy, who she resued off the street of LA before the 2022 Winter Olympics.
