Farrow Leads USA in Saas-Fee Pipe

SAAS-FEE, Switzerland - U.S. Snowboarding Rookie Benji Farrow (Ludlow, VT) led the USA, finishing fifth Thursday in a FIS World Cup halfpipe in Saas-Fee. Zack Black (Breckenridge, CO) was sixth. In the women's contest, Arielle Gold (Steamboat Springs, CO) was tenth. Swiss Iouri Podladtchikov won the men's contest with Spain's Queralt Castellet taking the women's victory.
