Sydney Palmer-Leger of Park City, Utah is a dynamic, multi-sport athlete.
A five-time U.S. Mountain Bike National Champion, 2020 Junior World Championship Team Relay Silver Medalist, three-time NCAA Champion, 40k classic U.S. National Champion and World Cup ski racer, Sydney is part of a strong class of skiers climbing up the ranks, representing her nation at the top level of the sport.
During her collegiate career, Sydney was a three-time NCAA champion, winning the coveted title from her Freshman year to her Senior year, setting quite the tone for the University of Utah ski team.
In 2023, she represented the USA at the 2023 World Championships in Planica, Slovenia, placing 20th in the skiathlon. And in the 2023-24 season, skied to her best-ever World Cup result, with a 23rd place in the season finale in Falun, Sweden.
On the academic side, Sydney is set to graduate from the University of Utah in May of 2024. Outside of skiing, she enjoys acrylic painting, baking, rock climbing, and finding the best vegan recipes, as she has been a vegan her entire life.
