- 1. Sophia is fluent in Norwegian, and French.
- 2. She earned her first World Cup Podium on Stage 7 of the 2023 FIS Tour de Ski in the 10k freestyle climb up Alpe Cermis.
- 3. Off the snow, Sophia enjoys surfing, traveling, cooking and trail running.
- 4. Her favorite racing moment was at the 2020 FIS World Championships, "when guys won and girls got second!"
- 5. In addition to being a member of the silver-medal-winning relay team at the 2020 World Championships, she finished fifth in 15k freestyle.
- 6. Sophie was second at the 2020 NCAA Championships in the 5k freestyle.
- 7. Sophia made her World Cup debut in Lahti, Finland in the 15k skiathlon on Jan. 23, 2021.
- 8. Sophia is a professional trail runner and competes all around the World, including winning the Golden Trail World Series 3rd stage race.
